If you're in Syria, this would be a great time to go somewhere else.
In 3,000 years, Damascus, Syria has never been completely destroyed. There's one thing you can take to the bank. God's prophecies WILL take place and this one hasn't happened. YET. Damascus has been attacked lots of times but never completely leveled.
Evil abounds in Syria, as current leader Bashar al-Assad rushes head-first into his prophetic destiny. The 40-year-old is the most ruthless leader in the middle east, having used chemical weapons on his own people, killing many children. Syria also is home to Hezbollah and Hamas. Hamas is the armed unit of the Muslim Brotherhood and identifies itself as Palestinian.
Nobody seems to be willing to turn a blind eye. Will this be the fulfillment of the burden of Damascus prophecy referred to in Isaiah 17? We just have to wait and see.
I suspect it's not a matter of whether or not it's going to happen, but WHO is getting ready to fly the friendly skies over Syria.

3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.

THINGS ARE GETTING READY TO BREAK LOOSE!
One of the biggest mistakes anyone trying to understand prophecies in the Bible can make is to say, "Well this has already happened." What does God's word say about that?
Ecclesiastes 1:9
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
So how is anyone supposed to know if we're living in "the time of the end" that's spoken about in the book of Daniel?
When I first got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, I was determined to understand God's word. Not man's interpretation of God's word, but what God's word really said. So far so good…..then came the day I decided to study the book of Daniel. I read it through. Uh-oh. So I prayed, asking for revelation of God's word. Nothing. I did it again. No understanding.
I tried, unsuccessfully, to find a good study guide on Daniel. Surely those more educated than I understood this book. There wasn't a study guide to be found. Always before I could ask God for understanding of his word and He would open it up to me.
I finally said to God, "Okay, I'm going to study NOTHING except Daniel until I understand it." You could almost hear God laughing. After one year of reading nothing in the word except Daniel, I didn't know any more than when I had started. I finally set it aside for the next 30 years.
Daniel 12: 8-9
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Here's what I understood. NOBODY, not even if you begged and pouted, was going to truly understand the book of Daniel UNTIL God unsealed it.
God has finally unsealed Daniel. What was is, and what is will be. Has everything happened before. Yes.
What's different this time is all of the prophecies concerning the end of days, are being fulfilled at the same time. That's why everyone, even those who are false prophets, can sense something is getting ready to happen.
Here is wisdom: When it has all come together, the end is going to happen fast. If you haven't gotten yourself right with God, you're going to be in trouble when all Hell literally breaks loose. You'll be in a fight, not just for your life but your very soul, without the faith and power to fight through.
Things are getting ready to break loose.
Great evil is taking charge of the middle east.

WARNING TO THE CHURCH AT PERGAMUM
To the church in Pergamum:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. 13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.
14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. 15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.
This church was built in the town where there were many idol worshiping churches. The largest was the main temple of pagans, who violently opposed Christians, and even killed one of their members, Antipas. Because it was the main temple of this sect, God called it the throne of Satan.
This is a warning to Pastors: Keep an eye on who is teaching in your church and WHAT is being taught. The Bible speaks of wolves in sheep clothing. Just because someone calls themselves a Christian or claims to be a God-called teacher, doesn't make it so. False teachers will try to sneak into your congregation, just like they did then and steal or mislead the sheep. You MUST not only feed them but you must GUARD your sheep. Wolves in sheep's clothing always appear to be sheep. It takes the gifts of the Spirit to discern them sometimes.
I know of one church where the person teaching the children was teaching them how to fight demons. "Hold hands in a circle and take three steps backwards and three steps forward." WHAT??? That's about as pagan as you can get.
When the pastor was informed what was being taught, his reply, "I know but no one else will volunteer to teach them."
King Balak wanted Balaam to come put a curse on the Jews. God had blessed the Jews so of course he wouldn't tell Balaam it was all right to do it.
God basically repeatedly told Balaam, "NO". He was instructed not to go see Balak. But each time Balak's men would tell him to come with them, he would say he would go ask God. AGAIN.
NUMBERS 22:7
7 The elders of Moab and Midian left, taking with them the fee for divination. When they came to Balaam, they told him what Balak had said.
Finally he said God had told him to go. When you read this story, you'll find that Balaam got into all kinds of trouble for being disobedient to God, including almost getting him killed.
God is all knowing, and when He tells you "NO", it's wise to listen because He doesn't change his mind.
The scripture gives us another clue as to why Balaak got in big trouble. He didn't pray to God for his answer. He was going into a trance. In today's world we refer to that as "channeling".
The altars he kept having Balak set up were pagan altars not Godly altars and the sacrifices were not to God.
You cannot be a Christian and practice the occult. That is absolutely forbidden. Try it and you'll end up in big trouble just like Balaam. Any of the "gifts" given from an occult practice are satanic. I've been there, done it, and can personally attest that God's gifts are more powerful than satan's and absolutely DO NOT operate the same way. I can also attest that you will eventually get yourself into BIG trouble in the occult.
God's prophets NEVER go into a trance. NEVER. When you do that, you leave your mind blank for whatever spirit wants to take over. And that is never a Godly spirit.

WARNING...THE CHURCH AT SMYRNA. PAY ATTENTION AMERICA.
To the Church in Smyrna
8 These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.
9 I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.
11 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.
(We know when the Bible speaks of ten days, it means ten years because it tells us a year is like a day to God)
The seven churches were located in, what is now western Turkey. But these churches have spread world-wide so are still very relevant. The book of Revelation was put there for Christians to know what was to come in the last days.
It follows that whatever church you attend falls into the description of one of the seven churches, so churches must still look at themselves and heed the warnings. The church you attend won't fall into every category but it WILL fall into one of them.
At this time, we can look at the church that was in Smyrna and realize that churches all over the world are in danger. Particularly in the middle east where Christians are being arrested, thrown into prisons for years, and tortured for not renouncing Jesus Christ.
When you live in a country where we're assured, by our Constitution, the freedom to worship as we choose, we tend to ignore or forget in other countries our brothers and sisters are having to die because they believe in Jesus Christ.
Fortunately we Americans don't have to worry about that. YET. But that could change quickly if we don't guard against losing our freedoms. If you don't believe that, you've got your head in the sand and you're not paying attention.
Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Countries are being taken over and threatened. Churches are being bombed for their belief in Christianity. Even the countries that have always been considered neutral are now threatened.
It doesn't matter what your religion or lack of religion is, if you allow our freedom of religion to be taken away, you WILL be killed as a heretic if we lose our freedom.
The general opinion of atheists seems to be, they want freedom from Christianity. They now have that. But lose our freedom of religion means you lose the right to choose. America allows you the right to choose. God allows you the right to choose. If we allow our country to be brought down by the muslims, we will no longer have ANY freedom.
Does it then follow we are to hate our muslim neighbors? Absolutely not. Christians are to love. That's what makes us different. The Bible tells us to be gentle as a dove and wise as a serpent. It doesn't tell us to be stupid.
Pay attention and keep your eyes on Israel and on what's happening here in America.

PROPHECY TO THE CHURCHES
One can't teach about Bible prophecy and ignore the book of Revelation. In chapter 2, Jesus rebuked the churches for various errors being practiced or taught in the Christian churches.
The seven churches of Asia had the same problems that plague present-day churches. The churches today fall under the same descriptions as the seven churches then. The only difference is, those seven churches are now spread out world-wide. That's why the warnings and rebukes given then, are relevant today.
Jesus said to the Church of Ephesus:
Rev 2:2-7
I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
This church worked hard and it would seem, they had all kinds of things coming against them, but they stuck to their guns because of Jesus.
The problem was they had quit loving each other. When that happens you have strife, backbiting and all kinds of trouble move into a church. Sounds like some of today's churches. Their theology is solid. They teach the "full gospel". But when a church stops loving each other, they then stop reaching out and loving others.
They didn't just automatically believe every one claiming to be an apostle. They tried them and found them to be liars. They protected their church from being deceived.
They hated evil. They hated the practices of the Nicolaitans, which Jesus said he also hated.
It seems the Nicolaitans were heretics who tried to throw stumbling blocks in front of Christians by causing them to also indulge in idol worship, eating meat that was being sacrificed to idols and generally living an indulgent lifestyle. The leader had complete control over the lives of his followers.
The church at Ephesus stood strong against that teaching.
However….yes, there's a however….they had quit loving each other and Jesus told them he would remove their candlestick. Translation: Either repent and start loving each other again, or I will shut you down.
How many times have we seen that happen in today's churches? Too often for sure. A church can be be sound in it's theology but they need to remember this:
Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 8:11 - 14
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Some churches are teaching that because Jesus is the temple, or because the Bible says our bodies are the temple, there is no need for the temple in Jerusalem to be rebuilt. This teaching is in error. However, to argue over it is a waste of time. It will soon prove itself, one way or the other.
The book of Daniel was ordered by God to be locked until the last days. Years ago I spent a year studying Daniel. You could find all kinds of books on the other books of the Bible, but study books on Daniel couldn't be found. Why? Because it was "locked" by God until the last days.
It has now been unlocked and couldn't be more clear to believers who take the time to study it instead of just taking someone else's word for what it says. Non-believers still don't understand it. The purpose of writing this, is so when it happens you will immediately recognize it.
It's unclear whether the temple being restored has to happen before the rapture of the church can take place. But it will happen. Some believe it's already happened, but this is also error.
For this to be true, ALL of the last day prophecies will have had to already happened. Never before have we seen last day prophecies being fulfilled so quickly. Bits and pieces have happened before in history, but NEVER so many at one time, like what is happening now.
As concerning the temple in Jerusalem, it could NOT have happened yet. There has never been a time when the antichrist defiled the temple. There has never been a time when the temple has been desolated. For that to be true, the antichrist would have had to already come. But it wasn't. The Western wall still stands.
Don't think the temple is going to be rebuilt for God to live in, as some believe. It's whole purpose will fulfill the prophecies in Daniel.
Preparations are in the works now, to rebuild a total replica, solely for the purpose of training priests. It's being built exactly to the specifications in the old testament as given to the Jews. Much time has been spent researching genealogy to find the descendants of Aaron who God appointed as the Priests.
The implements have already been crafted and numbered. They're being stored waiting for the temple to be rebuilt.
This has never happened before. Soon to be revealed, a one world government with a one world money system and a one world police system. If you don't think this is already shaping up to happen, you haven't been paying attention. You think we're seeing financial problems in the United States? You haven't seen nothing yet.
Non-believers will fall more and more into despair. This will be a perfect time for Mr. Wonderful, the antichrist, to "come as a man of peace" and tell you he'll fix everything. He'll be charismatic, charming, and ultimately deceive the masses into believing he is god. He will then prove to be a deceiver, dark, a viscous killer of all that is good.
When the antichrist makes his appearance, he will make a 7 year treaty with Israel. And they will have an advantage because greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. And the sword of the Holy Spirit will stream out of their mouth.

Some churches are teaching that because Jesus is the temple, or because the Bible says our bodies are the temple, there is no need for the temple in Jerusalem to be rebuilt. This teaching is in error. However, to argue over it is a waste of time. It will soon prove itself, one way or the other.
The book of Daniel was ordered by God to be locked until the last days. Years ago I spent a year studying Daniel. You could find all kinds of books on the other books of the Bible, but study books on Daniel couldn't be found. Why? Because it was "locked" by God until the last days.
It has now been unlocked and couldn't be more clear to believers who take the time to study it instead of just taking someone else's word for what it says. Non-believers still don't understand it. The purpose of writing this, is so when it happens you will immediately recognize it.
It's unclear whether the temple being restored has to happen before the rapture of the church can take place. But it will happen. Some believe it's already happened, but this is also error.
For this to be true, ALL of the last day prophecies will have had to already happened. Never before have we seen last day prophecies being fulfilled so quickly. Bits and pieces have happened before in history, but NEVER so many at one time, like what is happening now.
As concerning the temple in Jerusalem, it could NOT have happened yet. There has never been a time when the antichrist defiled the temple. There has never been a time when the temple has been desolated. For that to be true, the antichrist would have had to already come. But it wasn't. The Western wall still stands.
Don't think the temple is going to be rebuilt for God to live in, as some believe. It's whole purpose will fulfill the prophecies in Daniel.
Preparations are in the works now, to rebuild a total replica, solely for the purpose of training priests. It's being built exactly to the specifications in the old testament as given to the Jews. Much time has been spent researching genealogy to find the descendants of Aaron who God appointed as the Priests.
The implements have already been crafted and numbered. They're being stored waiting for the temple to be rebuilt.
This has never happened before. Soon to be revealed, a one world government with a one world money system and a one world police system. If you don't think this is already shaping up to happen, you haven't been paying attention. You think we're seeing financial problems in the United States? You haven't seen nothing yet.

IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST ALREADY BEING MANUFACTURED? YOU DECIDE!
Will the VeriChip be the vehicle used by the antichrist that's referred to as the Mark of the Beast? Let me give you a few facts, then YOU make the decision.
There's no way for me to completely cover this subject in a blog. The information is extensive.
Most people are aware that animal are being implanted with microchips to help ID them if they're stolen. Let me tell you some other things the chips are being used for.
Keep in mind these Radio-Frequency ID chips, hereafter referred to as RFID, can obviously be changed AFTER they're implanted.
It's pretty much proof because they're using them to keep track and have instant access to a person's medical history. Since that changes, the chip has to be able to be changed. Right?
Another use for them is on alzheimers patients, so they can locate them if they wander. So it can be used to track someone.
Credit card companies are investigating using the chip instead of credit cards, they don't have to be replaced and it's much cheaper for the companies.
Some banks are looking into using them instead of ATM cards.
Some countries are already using them in bars and nightclubs. Patron's bar tabs and cover charges are automatically deducted from their bank accounts just like an debit card would do.
Some states in America are already embedding the chip in drivers licenses. Arkansas legislators tried that a few years ago. When I found out that was on the agenda, I guarantee you it took me about 3 seconds to grab my phone and start making phone calls. Then I started emailing them.
I did receive a personal note from one of them I know. I called him and told him what I thought and why I thought it. He thought chipping drivers licenses and identification cards was harmless. I reminded him that to give the government an inch was a guarantee they would take a mile. I have no way of knowing how many others made phone call or sent emails, but here's the law in Arkansas now:

VeriChip will assist emergency situations and disaster recovery in conjunction with modified cameras capable of wirelessly receiving both RFID scanned data and GPS data. A Web-enabled database will also support the gathering and storing of information and images captured during emergency response operations.

The chip is being recommended for infant protection in case a child is kidnapped, so it can be tracked.It's being used for diabetics, for breast implants and other replacement devises.
So where did I get this information? Was it from an ultra-conservative Christian group who are just imagining? Not at all. It was from RFID site.

One thing you'll discover is the chip itself, has a special covering over the tip of it that will bond with the muscle when it's inserted making it almost impossible to be removed. So, could this be the method that will be used by the antichrist? It certainly looks that way. I think it's a real possibility, so I'm going to refuse the implant. Who knows…I might get to Heaven quicker that way.
